Cake smash outdoor session | Crystal Lake Family Photographer

I do not do studio cake smash sessions but if a family wants to do it at their home or garden I’m all in. My “Short Story Sessions” are perfect for this because they include a photo coverage of about 2-3 hours. Adding a documentary twist to a cake smash session adds a bit more meaning to it and I can stand behind that.

H. was turning one and her parents planned to have a cute pink background for her. But H. had other plans and kept wondering off to the side of it. Of course we rolled with it and I think the photos turned out even better than planned and they are unique to that family.
